Hill Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a congregation with a

children are welcome and valued in Worship. A Child Care Attendant
offers a safe and loving environment for infants through 4 years old
during Worship, if desired. Sunday School is offered for children ages
5 and up following children's time during worship.
Worship includes scripture, prayer, music, proclamation, and Communion.
The service includes both lay and clergy leadership in being and
sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Through the week, there are
opportunities for Sewing and Quilting Fellowship, Disciples Women,
Mission Work, and Christian Education Classes. We sponsor Trunk or
Treat each October for the entire neighborhood.
are committed to mission locally and beyond. The third Sunday of each
month we collect money and food for the DMARC Food Pantry. We support
the ministry of our Regional campground at the Christian Conference
Center, Newton, Iowa, with our offerings and our labor. We share in the
annual Hunger Hike each October. We also send mission teams to Rippling
Hope Ministries in Detroit, Michigan annually and to Southwest Good
Samaritan Ministries, Los Fresnos, Texas, every three years.

Church, Mount Zion International Ministries, Behind the Veil Church and
Efecios 2:20 De El Salvador, and Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. Each one
utilizes the building to the glory of God, carrying out its mission in
the name of Jesus Christ. We have been blessed in these rich and
culturally-diverse relationships. We meet for Conversation and Prayer
with Morning Star Baptist Church on every third Wednesday. We invite
everyone to be a part of the conversation.

include: Mothers of Multiples, Narcotics Anonymous, Women of Resilience
(AA), and Fairmont Park Neighborhood Association.
